We extend our deepest condolences to Sylvester O. George, his beloved son living in South Africa, and all George family members. PA Sunday’s life journey, spanning from 1949 to 2024, was one of rich cultural heritage and profound impact. As an Itsekiri elder, he undoubtedly carried with him the wisdom of his people, passing down traditions and values that have shaped his immediate family and his community in Ugbokodo Okpe and beyond.

To those gathering at his residence in Ben-Bright close, after Ugbokodo Okpe Secondary School, your presence will honour a life well-lived. As you join in the Service of Songs on December 19th and the Funeral Service on December 20th, may your voices rise in celebration of PA Sunday’s life, echoing the rich musical traditions of the Itsekiri people.
