Leader of South Africa’s third largest party uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) party Jacob Zuma, has appointed Floyd Shivambu as the Secretary General of the party.
Shivambu resigned from the Economic Freedom Fighters in August.
Having served as deputy president of the EFF since its inception, Shivambu was one of the party’s founding members alongside Julius Malema in 2013.
Two other EFF members Advocate Dali Mpofu and Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane also resigned from the party and joined the MK Party.
